In an amazing comeback story (perhaps not as amazing as Rick Ankiel) the Colorado Rockies have won 14 out of their last 15 games to win the National League Wild Card. Final score was 9-8 in the 13th. Matt Holiday was the winning run.
Even more amazing about this is no one saw it coming. They were 5 games out even just a couple weeks ago, just a couple games away from elimination and now, they are the wild card winners. This will be the clubs 2nd post season in team history and Todd Helton’s First.
The Rockies start playing the phillies on wednesday on TBS at 3pm eastern time.
